New to Mitaine? Tap How to Play on the main menu to launch the interactive tutorial. It walks you through every situation — from playing your first card to calling a Sock of Jacks.
During a game, tap the ? button in the top bar to open the in-game rules reference — a quick cheat sheet covering scoring, the call stack, Jacks, the 10♦ bonus, and partner escalation.
If it's your turn and your cards are dimmed, you may be the owner of an active call and are required to keep playing cards of that group until it resolves. Cards of a different rank are blocked until your call completes.
Whichever team clears the table while the 10 of Diamonds is in the pile earns an extra 100 points — by any method (group resolution, Jack sweep, clearing for 10, or plain table clean).
If an opponent has an active call and you play a card of the same rank as their called group, you instantly steal and resolve the call — scoring all the points for your team.
